Dr. James Bastian provides informative Latisse consultations either in-person or phone consultation. Following your Latisse consultation, you may choose to purchase Latisse at the Nu Image Medical Esthetics clinic or you may prefer to shop online.
How does Latisse work?
The active ingredient in Latisse is bimatoprost, which affects the growth phase of the eyelash hair cycle. This leads to increased eyelash length, thickness, and darkness.
When will I begin to see my results?
Patients who use Latisse typically start to see longer lashes in about eight weeks, with full effects at 16 weeks.
How do I apply Latisse?
One drop of Latisse is applied once daily to the base of the upper eyelid (like you would apply eyeliner) with a single-use-per-eye disposable applicator brush. It is important to apply Latisse onto clean, dry skin.
In a study conducted by Allergan, the manufacturers of Latisse, participants experienced these results after 16 weeks:
Eyelash length increased by 25 percent
Thickness and fullness increased by 106 percent
