The dermal fillers used at Nu Image are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance found in the body. Fillers are used to correct, plump and reshape the face. Unlike Botox which prevents muscle movements, fillers create and restore volume. Typical filler treatment areas include the cheeks, under eyes, lips, chin and jawline.

Filler treatments are one of Nu Image’s most popular services, along with neuromodulators, this means that our injectors are performing this service every day, multiple times a day. Our injectors have extensive training in the art of injectable treatment and are some of the provinces most established injectors. So be assured that you are in good hands with any of our cosmetic injectors.

Filler treatments can be tailored to your desired aesthetic. Natural looking, undetectable fillers are a reality when you have the right injector.

What are Filler Treatments like at Nu Image?

If you are a new patient to Nu Image, your treatment will start with a consultation with one of our team members. During your consultation, you will discuss your aesthetic goals and/or areas of concern. This will allow us to make the best recommendations to help you reach your goals. You can have your consultation and treatment in the same day by booking in directly with one of our cosmetic injectors.

Once you have a treatment plan developed for you, your injector will go over your consent form and make sure all your questions have been answered prior to beginning treatment.

Prior to your treatment, your injector will prep your skin by cleansing and sterilizing the area you will be treating. Depending on your preferences and the sensitivity of the treatment area, a topical lidocaine may be applied.

Once your skin is prepped and your lidocaine has taken effect, your injector will begin treatment. Depending on the area being treated your injector will use a variety of injection techniques and methods to get you the best possible result.

Filler treatments typically take 30-45 minutes, start to finish. Once your treatment is completed your injector will let you know your post-care information. This will include avoiding strenuous activity, blood thinners and alcohol for a period of time to reduce the chances of swelling and bruising.

All cosmetic injectables are administered by a Doctor or Registered Nurse at Nu Image.
